The Low-Income Forum on Energy (LIFE), is a unique statewide dialogue, bringing together organizations and individuals committed to addressing the challenges and opportunities facing low-income New Yorkers as they seek safe, affordable and reliable energy.
Supported by the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), the LIFE dialogue encourages an interactive exchange of information and collaboration among the programs and resources that assist low-income energy consumers.
The LIFE program and its initiatives are guided by the LIFE Steering Committee. The Steering Committee is chaired by a representative of the New York State Department of Public Service (DPS) and is comprised of member organizations that represent community-based organizations, electric and gas utilities, state and local government, and weatherization agencies. Administrative support and management of the LIFE program is provided by NYSERDA.
To further the dialogue between stakeholders throughout the low-income energy community, LIFE is proud to host the LIFE Webinar Series.
