LIFE serves as a forum to discuss issues and exchange information relevant to low-income energy consumers, but it is the efforts of extraordinary people that transform issues into the actions that make a difference in the lives of low-income energy consumers. As part of the LIFE 2018 Statewide Conference, we will honor those individuals who have made extraordinary efforts towards addressing the issue of energy affordability for low-income New Yorkers. These committed and exemplary colleagues play an essential role through education and outreach efforts aimed at helping low-income consumers address their energy challenges.
Nominations must be received no later than April 13, 2018.
Anyone who has worked to address the energy-related issues that low-income New Yorkers face is eligible to be nominated for the LIFE Achievement Award. Requests for nominations are solicited broadly from LIFE stakeholders. The LIFE Steering Committee encourages conference participants and others to nominate a deserving colleague so that their efforts can be recognized by the LIFE community.
In addition to an Award, recipients will receive a complimentary registration for the LIFE 2018 Statewide Conference on May 22-23, 2018 at the Albany Capital Center in Albany, New York. LIFE Achievement Award recipients will be presented their awards during the Conference. Recipients are encouraged to attend the conference in order to accept the award.
