LIFE 2017 Regional Meeting Scholarships
The Low-Income Forum on Energy (LIFE) offers scholarships to assist individuals from nonprofit organizations, government agencies, tribes, and educational institutions who are unable to afford the cost of registration for the LIFE 2017 Regional Meetings. Priority will be given to first time attendees, those with an important link to low-income energy issues, or those whose attendance would likely result in furthering the mission of LIFE.
Please note that each scholarship covers the cost of conference registration only. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the scholarship awardee. All applicants will be notified of application status prior to the early registration deadline so that any applicant not receiving a scholarship can take advantage of the early registration discount. All scholarship applications are reviewed by the LIFE Scholarship Committee. Scholarship Committee award recommendations are finalized by the LIFE Chair and LIFE Program Manager, jointly.
Individuals must be affiliated with a nonprofit organization, government agency, tribe, or educational institution. Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
The application deadline has passed.
Questions about LIFE or the LIFE 2017 Regional Meetings can be directed to the LIFE Project Manager at 866-697-3732, ext. 3628, or LIFE@nyserda.ny.gov.
Scholarship applications must be received no later than April 5, 2017.
